Effective 12 December 2008, The Mahone’s Tavern and Museum, Inc. was determined to be exempt from Federal Income Tax under Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and further declared a Public Charity under Internal Revenue Code 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi). A copy of the authorization letter is on file and available upon request.  Our EIN number is: 26-3978517.

Contributions are deductible under Section 170 of the Code, and tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts are deductible under sections 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code.  Your contributions can be designated to be used for preservation/renovation, special projects, new exhibits or to be used to help with our ongoing operating expenses.
